The keywords provided by the client were “diamond” and “magical girl transformation”, so I did some research on retro magical girl animes such as Sailor Moon and Cardcaptor Sakura.
The client wanted a 4 second intro animation for their YouTube videos with their logo in it.

1 Rough layout of the diamond and sparkles, with a rough cut of sound effects taken from Sailor Moon
2 Clean up of animation and diamond, done in After Effects and Blender
3 Applied background and created final sound design
